What heals us?

Sensory Body Landscape is part of my ongoing research project ‘Healing & Creation’, initiated in 2012. 

Exploring the inseparable relationship between humans & nature, learning from ancient wisdom and embody the essential teachings in our contemporary bodies for artistic processes and healing practices.

In 2021-22, the research was invited to CUORE DEL SOLE ARTIST RESIDENCY, where I worked together with C. Leuenberger( dancer, choreographer & yoga teacher). It is located in the northern part of Italy.

Our focus was on investigating our innate moving spirit and healing nature, inspired by the elements of water, earth, and fire in the local landscape.

The sensory body serves as a medium to communicate with our surroundings, allowing us to delve deeper into the practice of direct feeling, seeing, moving and presence.

Here I am

Feel, touch, listen through the language of felt senses

Experiencing, perceiving, and truly being In my own body.

I revel the pure state of being, coming back to myself

I am the power, truly inhabiting myself, being present and being myself

So I continue to journey inward

Exploring the depths of my being,

In the simple joy of being.

Calling

Water is high, gentle waves and flow

Mist merging from the surface, slowly moving and dancing in its own tempo.

Lake, the mystery where sky and water intertwine

Heaven on Earth, an invitation to the divine.

I dance

For the very first time

As the water spirit calling me

Moving to the rhythm

Answering the voice of the sea.

Beloning

Here we are

In the passage of the forest,

A chestnut tree standing tall, Welcoming us with whispers to take a pause.

Its old skin, dry and weathered, Yet its ancient body strong and revered, Spread branches, a symbol of life before us, We stand in awe of its silent presence.

Today, we offer a little dance to thank you, Bow to you in reverence and gratitude, For being a companion in our journey, For offering us shade and shelter from the sun.

And as we stand here in your presence, We realize our connection to you,

Dear nature spirit, we belong to each other, In this timeless dance of life and rebirth.
