Land Acupuncture is a site-specific performance and a personal offering dedicated to nature.

The inspiration for this work arises from a deep longing to be guided by the spirit of nature, allowing an energy dance to unfold as a symbolic language bridging the material (the body) and the immaterial (the cosmos).

In this embodiment process, I position my body as a needle, acupuncture-ing the land.

Through the practice of land acupuncture, my body becomes a direct medium, experiencing the energies of nature.

Located on Île d’Aix, an island in the Atlantic Ocean off the west coast of France, where the water element holds prominence, I surrender my being to the guidance of the water spirit, experiencing an energy dance unfolding from sensation and awareness.

By tuning into the sensory-energy body, I rediscover a symbolic meaning of standing, sitting, moving and being in space.
